The story of a legendary club, Red Star, and of a passing down of the torch from father to son.<div> A little boy, his father holding his hand, on the way to the old stadium of a legendary club, amidst the fervor of a crowd sharing countless stories. I was that child, and my father before me, and one day I will be a father myself, and then, in Saint-Ouen where I now live, we will walk towards Red Star so that the legacy may be passed on.</div><div><br></div><div> Starting from a dialogue begun with my father, a lifelong supporter of the club, I am trying to understand what this club from Saint-Ouen represents today: for those who were born there, for those who still live there, for those who are arriving.</div><div> It weaves together our stories and those of our companions in the street and in the stands, the stories of a club that was once powerful and is now fashionable, a bearer of safe haven values: the people, refusal, resistance, in a working-class, immigrant city, long red, which prosperity tempts, and which holds back time.</div><div><br></div><div> Halfway between an intimate story and a documentary narrative, the show explores what the Red Star reveals about the city, its popular and working-class history, its transformations, and its contradictions.</div><div> It gives voice to the inner lives of those connected to it: the old guard, the newcomers, the faithful, the passersby.
