The composer of choice for Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, he wrote the scores for some of the greatest masterpieces of cinema: E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Jaws, Indiana Jones... His unforgettable melodic themes, recognizable from the very first notes, restored the symphonic orchestra to its former glory in film. It was created in 2015 by the production company uGo&Play and is under the musical direction of Nicolas Simon. The Yellow Socks Orchestra, literally "the orchestra with yellow socks," is a nod to a convention still in use in some orchestras: musicians must always wear black socks or risk having their pay docked! So, we took the opposite approach (...) and gave the musicians yellow socks!</div><div> The Yellow Socks Orchestra participates in numerous film concerts throughout France: Jurassic Park, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, La La Land, Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings... and the Harry Potter film saga.
