A bench, in full sun. At first glance, nothing could be more ordinary.<p> And yet, this modest piece of street furniture becomes the epicenter of a series of encounters that are as funny as they are touching.<br><br> We encounter, one after another, a gallery of colorful characters. There is Mrs. Bizet, an endearing and slightly deaf old lady, who turns every conversation into an absurd misunderstanding.<br><br> Next comes the schoolteacher, newly promoted to headmaster, proud of his status and always quick to boast of his municipal importance, although a little clumsy in his attempts at seduction.<br><br> The doctor, meanwhile, keeps making embarrassing slips of the tongue and is easily distracted by the charm of the village women, especially Jacqueline, the truck driver's pretty wife, coquettish and surrounded by rumors. Her ten-year-old son, Kevin, a football fanatic and hyperactive, bursts into the room like a tornado, while Oceane, a jaded and life-weary teenager, grumbles in slang about her parents.<br><br> There is also Romuald, the winegrower, trapped in his lies and his ridiculous jogging suit, torn between his authoritarian and jealous wife Agnès, and his supposed mistress.<br><br> On this simple bench, in the sun as in the shadow of unspoken words, a comic ballet unfolds where generations, passions and misunderstandings follow one another with tenderness and derision.</p><p> In this reimagined version, each character is brought to life by a vibrant cast: one actor for each role.
