Peter hook & the light announce a French tour during which the group will perform Joy Division's two studio albums, Unknown Pleasures and Closer, in their entirety.<div> Released in 1979, Unknown Pleasures was followed a year later by Closer, the recording of which was completed shortly before Ian Curtis's death, and a posthumous release in 1980. Since then, these two legendary albums have regularly appeared at the top of lists of the greatest albums of all time, established by both critics and the public.</div><div> A founding member of Joy Division and New Order, Peter Hook revisited Joy Division's seminal album, Unknown Pleasures, for the first time in May 2010 at a commemorative charity concert. Since then, he has continued this work of passing on the torch each year by performing albums from the repertoire of his two bands, Joy Division and New Order, on stage.</div><div> This loyalty to his catalogue has thus led him to revisit Unknown Pleasures, Closer, Still, Movement, Power, Corruption & Lies, Low-Life, Brotherhood, Technique, Republic, the albums Substance as well as Get Ready.</div><div> Peter Hook continues to introduce or reintroduce his repertoire to generations of enthusiastic spectators worldwide.</div><div><br></div>
