Description

Ostinato Blues offers a journey through time, from Renaissance music to the present day, from Vivaldi to Ella Fitzgerald, by way of Purcell, Mozart, Schubert, and traditional music. Both playful and educational, this project is a true invitation to travel.

Opera singer Sarah Théry and singer and guitarist Cédric Van Caillie (formerly of the band BaliMurphy) have joined forces on a project close to their hearts. These two singular artists form a unique duo, blending their musical experiences to create a new soundscape where blues guitar illuminates refrains from all eras. Their voices rest upon persistent, obsessive, and haunting bass lines, like musical mirrors reflecting so many tormented hearts.
