Description

Daughter of the poet Roland Dubillard, Ariane acts, tells stories and sings, giving thanks to the child she once was and to a destiny full of humor and imagination.
To write, I followed in the footsteps of the little girl, raised by a brilliant and crazy (redundant?) father adored beyond all measure, throughout a childhood punctuated by disappearances.

An irreverent tribute to the poet Dubillard, who raised me alone, or almost alone, after the tragic death of my mother, making me laugh despite everything, and teaching me how to create.

And as he always told me: - Sing! I put some of his songs into the show which mark the different periods of our lives, offering with them a correspondence which still seems a little magical to me.

We hope you enjoy discovering this show as much as Sébastien and I do every time we perform it!

Ariane Dubillard
Trained in singing in Düsseldorf and in acting in Paris, Ariane Dubillard has shared the stage with some of the greatest names in theatre—Nada Strancar, Jean-Philippe Ecoffey, Denis Lavant, André Dussollier—in film—Jean-François Balmer, Pierre Etaix—and in song—Juliette Gréco, Juliette, Anne Sylvestre. She has had the opportunity to work under the direction of directors as diverse as Nicolas Bataille, Régis Santon, Alain Maratrat, Tilly, Christian Schiaretti, and Virginie Lemoine.

His latest show "Merci pour la tendresse" in homage to Anne Sylvestre was performed at the Festival Théâtre et lecture en Normandie, at the Commanderie d'Elancourt, at the Théâtre de l'Esprit frappeur in Lutry in Switzerland, and at the Théâtre de l'ile Saint-Louis in 2022-23. It will be revived in the same theatre in the spring of 2025.

My Song of Roland, created in Geneva, was revived at the TNP in 2019 as well as at the Théâtre des Déchargeurs and has been touring ever since.
