<p>The Karrak Company presents an original shadow puppet show inspired by Korean folklore that will delight young and old alike! Deep in the ocean, the Great Dragon King has fallen asleep. His snores were so loud that they hatched a very special egg: the egg of Imugi, a young dragon apprentice with only one ambition—to become a real dragon!<br><br> To do this, he must search for a celestial sphere and venture into the world of men, where he will meet Hyun-Ae, a little girl who is sometimes too well-behaved, but full of surprises. Together, they will have to confront the Tiger Lord, who reigns terror in the mountains, often at his own expense.<br><br> Will they manage to outwit him? Or will they learn that the solution isn't always what it seems?<br><br> The fantastic thing about fairy tales is that they transcend cultures. In this play, each character draws from the Korean world, yet resonates with the shared European imagination. Here, the various tales borrowed from Korean folklore serve the story, and the story is nourished by these tales, in order to transmit universal values ​​from a very young age. In this instance, violence solves nothing, and the act of courage is forgiveness.<br><br> This show is presented as part of the Parisian festival of children's shows, "L'été des p'tits futés" (Summer of the Little Smarties), organized by the Théâtre Darius Milhaud, located near the Parc de la Villette and the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont.
