A whole host of themes!<div> The referee randomly selects the themes for the improvisations (which are unknown to the players) and indicates the form the improvisation will take by varying several elements:</div><div><br></div><div> • the nature: mixed or comparative. A mixed improvisation allows both teams to play together, while a comparative improvisation sees the two teams take turns on the same theme.</div><div> • The title: this is a word, an expression, or even a short phrase (or any other creation...) defined by the referee and known only to him or her</div><div> • the number of players: it can be free or fixed.</div><div> • the category: it can be free or imposed from a wide range of possibilities.</div><div> • Duration: It can vary from 30 seconds to 20 minutes.</div><div><br></div><div> Respect the rules!</div><div> "The referee is the absolute master of the game." At any time, they can impose a penalty on a player or team for any infraction that detracts from the quality of play or the flow of the game. During an improvisation, the referee signals a foul with a "gazou" (a nasal-sounding whistle). The penalty is announced before the vote. Accumulating three penalty points automatically awards one point to the opposing team.</div><div><br></div><div> Only the captain of each team has the right to ask the referee for an explanation.</div><div><br></div><div> Finally, any player who receives two penalties during the same game is ejected from the game. Their team therefore finishes the match without them.</div>
