Supported by a large-scale immersive visual system, Hosanna unfolds an original creation blending painting, cinema and contemporary images, projected onto a giant screen overlooking the orchestra.<div> <span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Hosanna</span> , proposed by Thierry Chabrot and written by Marc Di Domenico in collaboration with Father Antoine D'Augustin, is a musical show that celebrates Jesus Christ in music and song.</div><div> Led by the Iconic Symphonic Orchestra conducted by Ralph Szigeti with 80 musicians and Guillaume Latour on first violin and an exceptional choir of 200 singers from diverse traditions — Catholic, gospel and Orthodox — this show offers a unique musical and spiritual journey.</div><div> The greatest sacred works and emblematic songs dedicated to Christ are found there, drawn from the repertoire (among others) of Charles Aznavour, Laurent Voulzy, Elvis Presley, as well as from the great works of Bach and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and others.</div><div> These repertoires are complemented by Orthodox sacred chants and Taizé chants, adding a meditative depth and a universal dimension. The performance also incorporates major works from the cinematic and contemporary repertoire, with powerful compositions by Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer, and Arvo Pärt, enhancing the emotion and visual impact.</div><div> Between each scene, excerpts from the Gospels illuminate the narrative, narrated by Father Antoine d'Augustin, rector of the Basilica of Our Lady of Victories, lending the whole a narrative and spiritual depth. From contemporary Ave Marias to Hosannas, the music becomes prayer, breath, and light.</div><div><br></div><div> Stained glass windows in motion, works of art, landscapes, and contemplative faces compose a living, cinematic fresco. Each image is conceived, edited, and precisely synchronized with the orchestra and voices, creating a total experience where sight and sound become one.</div><div> The show is structured like a story in 12 scenes, a poetic and spiritual journey that begins with the creation of the world and unfolds through the life of Jesus Christ, up to the legacy he leaves to mankind.</div><div> Between each scene, excerpts from the Gospels illuminate the narrative, read by Father Antoine d'Augustin, rector of the Basilica of Our Lady of Victories. His voice situates the performance within a spiritual continuity and lends an embodied depth to this musical and visual fresco.</div><div> At each stage, image, word, and music converse in a resolutely contemporary style, at the crossroads of the symphonic concert and grand cinema.
