The Gospel Helios choir, directed by Dominique Magloire, offers an extraordinary performance exploring different types of gospel music. They perform in the prestigious Parisian churches of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, La Madeleine, and Saint-Sulpice.<br><br> On the program, you will have the pleasure of hearing iconic gospel songs, such as "Oh Happy Day", "Amazing Grace" and "Oh When the Saints", performed by the best current French gospel artists.<br><br> Dominique Magloire developed her passion for music from a young age by joining gospel choirs. She gained national and international recognition through her participation in several musicals, including Gone with the Wind, Cleopatra, and The Twist Years. Her fame also led to her involvement in the Gospel for 100 Voices and Gospel on the Hill productions.<br><br> Dominique Magloire has also explored other forms of vocal art. She studied opera at the conservatory and won prizes in singing and chamber music. This has given her the opportunity to perform major classical works, such as Verdi's La Traviata, Mozart's Requiem, and Gershwin's Porgy and Bess.<br><br> In 2012, she became a breakout star on the television show The Voice, performing songs by Johnny Hallyday. In 2015, she appeared in the musical Gospel sur la Colline at the Folies Bergère. In 2019, she participated in the show Together, hosted by Éric Antoine and Garou. She also starred in the musical Ménopause, written and directed by Alex Goude. In 2021, Dominique Magloire participated in the All Stars season of The Voice to celebrate the show's 10th anniversary.<br><br> Drawing on her extensive experience, she also serves as artistic director of "Gospel Hélios," an ensemble dedicated to promoting gospel music in the Parisian churches of Saint-Germain-des-Prés and La Madeleine.
