This performance is a feminist and incandescent choreographic cry, poised between fragility and uprising.<div> With this creation for twelve dancers, inspired by the commitment of women within international libertarian insurrectionary movements, Marina Gomes composes a fresco of resistance where bodies become terrains of insurrection, between strength and exhaustion, power and vulnerability.</div><div> In a style blending hip-hop, documentary gestures, and the poetry of reality, the piece explores what motivates people to rise up, disobey, and build alternative possibilities together. Fueled by revolutionary songs, trap, drill, and classical guitar, it creates a dialogue between activist legacies and contemporary cultures.</div><div><br></div><div> More than a show, Rather Fire Than Tears is a collective movement, an attempt to bring forth, in the heart of chaos, new forms of hope and emancipation.</div>
