A monument dedicated to the royal family in the heart of Paris.<div> Located in the heart of Paris, on the Place Louis XVI, the Chapelle Expiatoire, built during the Restoration, is a memorial to the Ancien Régime and the French Revolution. This exceptional neoclassical and romantic building is dedicated to the memory of the royal family. Construction began in 1815 under the orders of Louis XVIII, on the site of a former revolutionary cemetery.
