Throughout the concert, the duo will navigate between original compositions and some forays into American song, between jazz, folk and soul.<div> For several years, French-Taiwanese singer Estelle Perrault and Chicago-born pianist Rob Clearfield have cultivated a close musical collaboration, fueled by a shared exploration of sound, space, and narrative. They produced Perrault's latest album, "Promises," together, with Clearfield playing a central role in shaping its musical universe, a blend of modern jazz, folk, soul, and intimate songwriting. Their work together has been built on a constant dialogue, where composition, improvisation, and emotion flow seamlessly together.</div><div><br></div><div> Throughout the concert, the duo will navigate between original compositions revisited in an intimate piano-vocal format, reinterpretations of the Great American Songbook, and some incursions into American song, between jazz, folk and soul.</div>
