Well, maybe not so far away after all.</div><div><br></div><div> Let's just say that once upon a time... there was a New Year's Eve. Well, no, it's not really a New Year's Eve story. It's primarily a story about friendship. A story of friendship severely tested by the social climate linked to a global pandemic, itself linked to a virus. There you have it. It wasn't so complicated.</div><div><br></div><div> It all starts when a group of friends decides to spend New Year's Eve together in Jean-Charles's new chalet (Jean-Charles is the successful one in the group) (so cool). But they hadn't counted on the intrusion of a mysterious virus that disrupts their plans... and reveals some long-buried truths. Some New Year's Eves are definitely more positive than others. Any resemblance to real situations or to people living or dead is purely coincidental (or so I think).</div><div><br></div><div> Between absurd tensions, settling of scores, social hypocrisy, and collective paranoia, Cluster transforms a situation we've all experienced into a completely off-the-wall social comedy. A claustrophobic drama featuring six actors and three stuffed animals, in an atmosphere worthy of the worst Cluedo games in the history of Cluedo.</div><div><br></div><div> Laughing at a subject that has turned our lives upside down is the feat that Cluster achieves in a general atmosphere that could be reminiscent of the dinner for idiots... But then here, who is playing the idiot? The virus? Or the friends?</div><div><br></div><div> <strong>Did you know that?</strong></div><div> Cluster remains one of La Comédie des Alpes' biggest hits, even though the show is only performed in winter, during the holiday season. And here's a little anecdote that has become legendary within the troupe: during the show's creation in 2022, Thomas Caruso Aragona broke his leg. He performed for months with his leg in a cast... to the point that the audience was convinced it was part of the character and that the cast was an integral part of the staging.</div>
