His plays are performed all over the world. A poet, he works with language in its musicality, chiseling his sentences. A director and choreographer, he considers the actor as a "body in action".</div><div> The Closure of Love, his most famous play, was a great success at the 2011 Avignon Festival and won numerous awards. A man and a woman who had flourished in their relationship separate and each express themselves in a monologue. He speaks, telling her "it's over," and lets himself be carried away by the flow of words and their violence.</div><div><br></div><div> She listens to him, then responds, driven by the need to express her suffering and assert her point of view, her subjectivity. It's a battle; words are weapons, and bodies absorb their violence. Yet humor surfaces when they indulge in excess and caricature.
