A suspended moment with the most famous of Romantic composers in the intimate setting of a magical venue in the heart of the Latin Quarter. <b>Program:</b><br> Chopin<br> Barcarolle op.60<br> Scherzo in E major, Op. 54<br> Mazurkas op.6<br> Study op.10<br><br> Samuel Bismut is a pianist born in 1998, currently pursuing a master's degree at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris in the class of Denis Pascal and Varduhi Yeristian. He also studies in masterclasses with Clarie Désert, Michel Dalberto, and Sébastien Vichard.<br> Samuel Bismut was noticed at the 2019 Long-Thibaut-Crespin Competition, and subsequently for his interpretation of Schubert's Sonata in C minor, D958, during the recital final of the 2021 International Schubert Competition (Germany). Winner of the Rosa Sabater Prize at the prestigious 2022 Premio Jaén International Competition (Spain), he was recognized for his dedication to the Spanish repertoire, and in particular to Isaac Albéniz's great cycle "Iberia".<br> He is also nominated for the "Adami 2022 classical talent" awards, and on this occasion, will give several concerts in Paris and throughout France this summer.<br><br> From a very early age, he shared the stage with numerous partners, notably the soloists of the Montpellier Orchestra. He was invited to perform as a soloist and chamber musician with the Paris Symphony and Opera Orchestra under the direction of Luc-Marie Aguera in Mozart's Piano Concerto in A Major, K. 414, and for the premiere of Sophie Lacaze's work "Imobilité sérieuse" for piano and string orchestra. He also formed a duo with clarinetist Anaïde Apélian, with whom he explored a wide repertoire and participated in various chamber music ensembles.<br> Regularly called upon to defend his preferred repertoire in concert halls, he devotes himself particularly to the music of Mozart, Schubert, Chopin, as well as to the French piano repertoire of the 20th century. He frequently plays in Montpellier (Salle Molière, Maison des Choeurs), Paris (Notre-Dame du Liban, at the pianissimes at the Guimet Museum, at the Chopin recital series "piano passion" in St-Julien-le-Pauvre), in the Saint-Yrieix, Nancyphonies, Salon de Provence, Normandy, Harmonies du Perche and "Tons Voisins" international chamber music festival in Albi festivals.
