One a circus performer, another an actress-opera singer, the third a classical and pop pianist and the fourth an indie singer and poet met at the Cabaret Le Secret, now known as La Barbichette at the Moulin Rouge, created and run by the great Monsieur K.</div><div> The name Victor-Victoria refers to the wonderful comedy by Blake Edwards, which tells the story of this female artist who, unable to find work, disguises herself as a man...who disguises herself as a woman on stage, in order to be hired and - through this means - becomes a star.</div><div> Vivi and her small, manifesto-like revue, which never disappoints in its relevance, was born out of an urgent need: to dedicate a free stage space to women.</div><div> Inclusivity is the essence of the project; it unfolds in universes and artistic disciplines as varied as the creatures that move within them: the rebellious, the passionate, the impolite, the insolent, the lovers, opera singers, acrobats, performers, musicians, drag kings, strippers...</div><div> Cabaret as a vast testing ground for audacious and absurd creations with a boisterous, outrageous yet refined aesthetic. Cabaret as a form of revelry, disobedience, resistance, and expression.</div><div> Bodies, voices, words, masks unite to explode the constraints of stage spaces and society.</div><div> Victor-Victoria delivers to the public the depth of poetic and political thoughts in a setting of joy, lightness and a pinch of bad taste.</div><div> At the Théâtre Clavel in Paris, both monthly and on tour, La Bellini, Madame, Kahina, and Robi offer a fresh experience with each performance, sometimes as a quartet, sometimes with the addition of other artists. These musicians and performers are always vibrant and emotionally powerful. Les Vivies are versatile and as flexible as La Bellini's spine when it comes to expressing themselves freely on stages, at dances, in big tops, at bar counters, on cobblestone streets, and on beaches.</div>
