During this Parisian visit, it will present a ballet by Sharon Eyal and The Rite of Spring in Mats Ek's version. With House, Sharon Eyal blends the world of ballet with club dance: a love letter to dance infused with techno. Mats Ek created an initial version of The Rite of Spring in 1984, but his creative impulse toward Stravinsky's score remained unfulfilled. Nearly thirty years later, he takes up the work again at the invitation of the English National Ballet, giving a new version that Paris will be able to discover at the beginning of 2027. The great Swedish choreographer deploys all his art of gesture in the form of a scathing critique of forced marriage – a modern version of tribal sacrifice – in a Japanese aesthetic universe, offering a vision that is both profound and surprising of one of the most choreographed ballet scores in the world since its creation in 1913.</div>
