Entre Parenthèses tells the story of Alma, in her thirties, who one winter evening receives a call from the juvenile brigade.<div> Twenty-four years have passed since the day, at age nine, she filed a complaint for sexual assault. Two determined investigators have reopened a cold case: 72 similar incidents in an affluent neighborhood of Paris. The repeat offender, finally identified, will be tried in an unprecedented trial involving dozens of victims. She sensitively and precisely examines the judicial treatment of sexual violence and its silences.
