In Athens, a segment of the population made direct decisions: they voted on laws, war, and peace. This is the complete opposite of our current systems of representation. From this discrepancy arises a friction between past and present, shedding new light on our relationship to power.</div><div><br></div><div> On stage, fiction and history intertwine: citizens in debate, fragments of public life, or even Sophocles in rehearsal.
