A Life Without Windows explores two forms of confinement that respond to each other without ever truly meeting.<div> In a world where walls are not always visible, A Life Without Windows explores two forms of confinement that respond to each other without ever truly meeting.</div><div><br></div><div> On one side, a women's prison: a closed, tangible space, punctuated by physical and verbal violence, and heavy silences... The inmates live in forced close quarters, each carrying her own story, her fears, her frustrations, her hopes, and her rebellions. The prison becomes a paradoxical place: both cage and refuge, where lives and destinies intersect, intertwine, and sometimes converge—lives hanging by a thread...</div><div><br></div><div> On the other side, the city: open, vibrant, saturated with light and noise. Yet its inhabitants are also imprisoned, caught in a rhythm that oppresses bodies and narrows the horizons of minds. Here, there are no bars, but schedules, debts, and the pressure to succeed. Bodies are free, but minds are conditioned. Urban figures are swept up in a race against time, until they lose all sense of their own existence.</div><div><br></div><div> Through a play of echoes between these two worlds, the viewer is left with a persistent question: what if true freedom consisted first and foremost in recognizing one's own chains?</div>
