This poignant show recounts the slide of a segment of youth towards radicalism.<div> Structured around two memorial sites, Verdun and Auschwitz, this show denounces the mechanisms that lead societies to fanaticism, and makes visible the processes of dehumanization that have traversed modern societies, from the annihilation of soldiers on the battlefield to the extermination of civilians in death factories.</div><div><br></div><div> This evening takes the form of a film concert and is based on three documentaries by Serge de Sampigny: Verdun, They Shall Not Pass, Mussolini, the First Fascist, and Inside the Minds of the SS. Actress Marilou Aussilloux and actor Julien Frison, from the Comédie-Française, read letters written between 1914 and 1945 by young French, Belgian, German, Spanish, and Italian people.</div>
