This performance stems from an intimate experience: having grown up in an environment where gender, sexuality, and mental health were not named.<div> From a very early age, Massandje developed strategies for adaptation: gestures, voice, clothing, hairstyles... These elements became tools of expression as much as camouflage. Today, they constitute the raw material of his work.</div><div> Hair occupies a central place in this writing. It is simultaneously memory, matter, and language. It extends the body and becomes an autonomous narrative space.</div><div> Oxygènes, his alter ego, emerges from this space of tension. Massandje embodies a shift: the possibility of existing differently, outside of fixed roles, outside of expected forms. Massandje opens a space of fiction where one can experiment with other ways of being.</div><div> Sound is another pillar of the piece. Massandje works from techno, house, and Afro-diasporic aesthetics, conceived as music of resistance and transformation. The sound acts as a pulse that structures the stage and accompanies the gestures.</div><div> His practice is based on writing on stage and improvisation. The show is built in movement and remains open at each performance, in a dialogue with the moment.</div><div> Language is treated like a sonic material: Massandje fragments it, repeats it, displaces it. It becomes an extension of the body in action.</div><div> On stage, certain material elements such as hair, threads, and materials become partners in the performance. They extend the body and participate in the construction of a living space, between memory, fiction, and reinvention.</div>
