Based on sociological research, Juliette Navis explores adolescent love.<div> Following last season's exploration of fear with Nathalie Béasse, the Living Collection for Youth expands this year with a new emotion: love. For this second chapter, La Commune invites Juliette Navis to explore her work on adolescence, questioning what love means today. Three young dancers and a drummer take over the space to answer this question.</div><div><br></div><div> Love in adolescence. Juliette Navis continues her exploration of romantic relationships after her piece Pedro, presented last year. Accompanied by her collaborator, choreographer Romain Guion, she draws on the book Les Choses sérieuses (Serious Things) by sociologist Isabelle Clair. This research, conducted over twenty years in various settings and examining the subject of adolescent love, forms part of the soundscape we hear. It is the source that triggers the narratives and the gestures of the three dancers. For this creation, Juliette Navis pushes her exploration of movement to give form to what is tamed and encountered.</div><div><br></div><div> In line with his staging of Le chant d'ivresse (2025) for the Adolescences et territoire(s) programme, intimate life and its questions, taken in the moment, come to strike the stage: how do we build our relationship to ourselves and our relationship to others in a society with implicit rules?</div><div><br></div>
