The young French countertenor explores Vivaldi in a selection of secular cantatas for solo voice, imbued with passion and lyricism. Betrayal, tears, hope, or abandonment: each piece reveals the dramatic artistry of the "Red Priest," a blend of vocal virtuosity and expressive depth.<br><br> Under the direction of Chloé de Guillebon, the Royal Opera Orchestra revives the theatrical fervor of these cantatas in the setting of the Salon d'Hercule.</p>
