Embark on a journey through the paths of an imaginary land to discover the works of Mr. Bach in a new way!<p> Alice Julien-Laferrière and Matthieu Bertaud, who are used to exploring landscapes together with their Balade des Oiseaux, offer with this program dedicated to JS Bach, a journey on the paths of an imaginary country mapped by Camille Bodin-Nourisson.<br><br> Together, they revisit the most fashionable genre of the Baroque period: the dance suite. Starting with Bach's Partita for flute, the duo questions this structure and the links that unite these pieces, inviting spectators to follow their journey through Bach's work as well as through Passerelles, original compositions by Aristide Moari.<br><br> During the research, the musical journey gradually materialized into a geographical voyage.<br><br> The desire to allow the viewer to visualize concretely what detours the two musicians take to give meaning to this succession of pieces has emerged: the support of a geographical map, both artistic and didactic, invites the spectators to follow the duo in this particular adventure.</p><p> [As part of Interférences and the Avignon Off Festival]</p>
