Description

Mr. Orgon suggests to his daughter Silvia that she meet Dorante to determine if she wishes to marry him. Worried that he might not be his true self, Silvia devises a plan to observe him secretly. She decides to disguise herself as Lisette, her maid, while Lisette will play the role of Silvia. Meanwhile, Dorante, harboring the same concerns, has had the same idea, switching roles with his valet, Arlequin.<br><br> The four young people, in disguise, will then meet and engage in an unexpected experiment in romantic seduction, under the watchful eyes of Mr. Orgon and Mario, his son, who are amused by the situation.
