Through this show, Le Grenier de Babouchka wanted to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution in Portugal.<p> On April 25, 1974, in Portugal, the Carnation Revolution brought down the longest-lasting dictatorship in Europe. Thousands of Portuguese marched together, towards their destiny, to write, with flowers in their rifles, a sublime story of unity, love, and peace. These men and women thus succeeded in winning their freedom without a single drop of blood being shed.
