<p>Upon arrival, his mother Rita discovered her son pinned to the ground by a police officer.<br><br> Starting from this act of racist violence, the author and director Laurène Marx, a specialist in solo performances, and Bwanga Pilipili, an actress, author and director, chose to tell the story through the journey of the mother, Rita, a Cameroonian businesswoman who became a housekeeper.<br><br> How does the white gaze contribute to the construction of a reductive and objectifying vision of women? The author examines an identity journey that is not her own, exploring its areas of confusion and projection. The uniqueness of the performance lies in the encounter of three perspectives: that of a mother, at the heart of the story; that of an actress, an observer and herself a victim of ethno-racial discrimination; and that of a white trans author, who offers her own reflection on whiteness.<br><br> Three intersecting perspectives, united by a shared experience of fetishization and dehumanization. Based on interviews conducted with Rita Nkatbanyang, Laurène Marx and Bwanga Pilipili identify a systemic racism that stifles a woman in her work just as it stifles her son on the ground.</p> Mathis is subjected to racist insults from his classmates. He flies into a rage deemed uncontrollable by the school, which decides to call the police.
