Description

Photography workshop for beginners that will introduce you to the basics of photography. Course program :

Aimed at anyone who has never taken a photography course, this introductory workshop to the basics of photography will finally allow you to make sense of expressions you may have already read or heard.
Speed... Aperture... Sensitivity... Brrr, it almost makes you tremble! Rest assured, these concepts are not rocket science, and you will quickly master them with good explanations and a little practice.

What you will be able to do after this internship:

PhotoProf guarantees that by the end of this course, you will know how to use your digital camera and all its basic functions. You will also learn to:

- Know the function of all the buttons on your camera and how to use them; navigate the menus of your camera to change certain settings
- understand the basic concepts of photography such as exposure time, depth of field, aperture and sensitivity; differentiate between the various shooting modes of your camera (Shutter Priority - Tv or V; Aperture Priority - AV or A; P; M, etc...)
- make adjustments to improve the quality of your shots; use some simple rules of image composition to optimize the impact and message of your photos.

The pro's opinion :

"Get Out of Automatic Mode!" was designed as an introduction aimed at demystifying photography, and by extension, photography courses. A camera is already quite expensive, and we often hesitate to spend at least a third of its purchase price on a course that doesn't guarantee immediate results. Will the instructor meet my expectations? Will I find solutions to my problems? Won't I just be bored and waste half a day attending a photography workshop?

"I see this course as an essential introduction before any other photography course. Although somewhat theoretical, it allows you to clear away the bad habits often adopted by the general public and start from scratch with solid foundations. Many people mix up concepts heard here and there."

I find it amusing to see my students arrive very worried at the beginning of class. And generally, they get scared during the first hour when they realize there are many things to consider before each shot.

But thanks to the practical exercises I give them, they quickly get everything back on track. With "Get Out of Automatic Mode!", my students finally understand what they're doing and are able to take truly beautiful pictures when they get home. The feedback is overwhelmingly positive!

Alexandre Rosa, Trainer
