A devoted fan of Lester Young and Count Basie, Michel returns to share his passion for swing with us at the head of his orchestra. Michel Pastre has established himself today as one of the most famous contemporary tenor saxophonists.<br> He also excels in another role by leading and conducting an impressive big band.<br> While continuing to play with the small groups of his early days, he was asked to join larger groups, first Paul Chéron's Tuxedo, then Gérard Badini's Super Swing Machine, of which he became a star soloist.<br> A few years later, in 1998, Michel Pastre was able to realize his dream: to form his own big band.<br> This team immediately offered top-class music, where the spirit of Count Basie hovered, and their performances garnered the admiring enthusiasm of jazz lovers.<br> This was, moreover, the case at the Sancy Snow Jazz in 2002 where the orchestra effortlessly captivated the public with the quality of the sound, the repertoire, the precision and the swing of the ensemble.
