Description

"You have never dared to enter an auction house?" I will introduce you to the auction and its procedures, the history of the institution, facts and anecdotes, who the auctioneers are, the Savoyard Red Collars, how a sale takes place, what a reserve price is, in short, everything related to auctions and how they work: Code, rites, professionals, expertise... these terms will become familiar to us.

Drouot is the largest auction house in France.

We will begin by exploring the historic district on foot for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes (where expert firms, the national chamber of auctioneers, etc. work).

Please note:
Since the implementation of the Vigipirate security plan, groups are no longer allowed to park inside the auction house, so I will leave you free to wander at the building's entrance. This will allow you to attend the auctions live, explore the exhibition rooms, consult the auction catalogs, and even get close to the artworks, examine them, inquire about their estimated value... and perhaps even purchase the object of your dreams!
Please note: the visit may be cancelled if there are fewer than 8 participants.

Insurance: Participants in the tours are under their own civil liability in case of accident.
