"Framed-out" is a contemporary choreographic tale about our insatiable need to define ourselves.<br><br> A young woman, searching for her own identity, fills empty picture frames with her own images. "Everything seemed to serve as a border for her," wrote Baudelaire. She becomes engrossed in the game, enjoying it to the point of an exuberant frenzy that suffocates her, confuses her, and inflates her ego. This trap of light makes her lose her footing.<br><br> The dancer moves with humor, poetry, and sensitivity. The choreography oscillates between visual art, sophisticated and spontaneous movements. This piece transports us to a world of dance and music inspired by Charles Baudelaire's "Les Fleurs du Mal" (The Flowers of Evil).
