During the ascent of the coffin from the crypt, an orchestra played Chopin's Funeral March in an arrangement by Napoléon Reber.<br> Then, organist Louis Lefébure-Wély performed the Preludes in E minor and B minor. At the end of the ceremony, Mozart's Requiem was performed by the orchestra and choirs of the Conservatoire's concert society, conducted by Narcisse Girard, with soloists Pauline Viardot and Luigi Lablache.<br><br><br> Dynamic and eclectic, the Helios orchestra has made its mark since its creation in 2014.<br><br> Its artistic director, Paul Savalle, promotes the professional integration of young musicians through orchestral practice. They all come from major French conservatories, some belonging to a national orchestra.<br><br> From string quartet to symphony orchestra, including brass ensembles, the orchestra continually expands its audience by adapting its instrumentation. The string section performs in the most prestigious churches of Paris, allowing audiences to discover a rich architectural heritage.<br><br> Its variable geometry formation allows the Helios orchestra to approach a very wide repertoire with passionate curiosity.
