Alexandre Pesle in Le Pesletâcle
Alexandre Pesle in Le Pesletâcle
To bookDescription
Alexandre Pesle is an author, actor (and a super dad, though he doesn't like to talk about it much, it makes him sound like a braggart). He started his career (at the time, he didn't think it would be one) at Canal+ with Les Nuls, where he wrote, performed for, and acted with them for six years. He's a longtime writer for Les Guignols and the series "H." If his face seems familiar, it's because you saw him, loved him, desired him, and eagerly awaited his feline, virile presence in Caméra Café, where he played Sylvain, the naive (in French, "dumb") accountant.<br><br> He has dedicated himself to live performance for 13 years. And it's been good to him. He has collaborated with Marc Jolivet, Alex Goude, Marion Game, and many others who are just as talented but less well-known. And people only seem to like famous people. Or dead ones. While the channels multiply (digital terrestrial television, social media, YouTube channels...), it feels like everyone is trying to create controversy to get attention, indiscriminately. And to claim to possess some supposedly universal truth. So Alexandre returns to the question everyone is asking: "Can we laugh at everything?"<br><br> As with his first one-man show, Alexandre has chosen to make you laugh as far as possible. And while he's targeting young people, he's not excluding other age groups. We don't all have to have the same sense of humor. That's also what freedom of expression is about, and within that expression lies the word "freedom." I'll focus on that word alone. So the question remains, and it's a fascinating one: Is it still possible to laugh at everything? That's what you'll find out... if you come! You'll see, we're going to have a great time.
