Description

A musical tale to discover the orchestra. Between enchanting and sensational... in the shadow of a breathtaking setting.
In the shadow of a breathtaking setting...

Both a musical tale and an educational lesson for discovering the instruments of the orchestra and the magic of its workings, in the tradition of introductory stories to the orchestra such as "Peter and the Wolf," this musical and cultural performance invites spectators to immerse themselves in the world of orchestral timbres and harmonies. This is achieved through a more accessible, smaller ensemble and an original, educational musical work set against a fantastical backdrop. A blend of enchantment and sensation... all within a setting that also houses monumental works by some of the greatest visual artists of our time: Daniel Buren, Anish Kapoor...

3:30 PM: Registration required

Guided tour by the Galleria Continua mediators of the new exhibitions... Waterwheels, exposed metal framework and beams, concrete foundations... this former paper mill in Les Moulins, Seine-et-Marne, dates back to the 1820s, and its paper machines established it as a pioneer of the "book revolution." The rich decor and raw elements that compose it now serve as a backdrop to the often monumental works and high-caliber group exhibitions that follow one another in the two 1500m² exhibition spaces. Renowned artists such as the Indian visual artist Anish Kapoor, Ai Weiwei, and Antony Gormley share these immense spaces of concrete and greenery.

5pm: Musical fantasy tale – Orchestra and choir

A musical fantasy freely inspired by a story by F.
