The Bouffes du Nord is a theater, located in the area of the Chapel , at 37 bis Boulevard de La Chapelle , in the ^10th arrondissement of Paris , opposite the metro station La Chapelle .

History

The Bouffes du Nord was built in 1876 and was then appointed Molière Theatre until 1904 . It will be a mecca of artistic its inception until after the Second World War. In May 1945, a young director, Jean Serge , gives the theater called "Theatre of the Crossroads."
