History
Le Bataclan was originally a large cafe-concert of Chinese architecture, with coffee and theater at the ground floor and a large dance hall upstairs. It accounted for comedies of Scribe , Bayard , Mélésville or Dumersan , and there also gave concerts.
The facility, which opened on 3 February 1865 , was purchased almost immediately by Andre Martin Pâris. During the War of 1870 , billiards halls are used as "ambulance". The first review is presented in 1883 , and the operetta two years later. The singer Paulus bought in 1892 the institution. Fragson Harry , Aristide Bruant , or even Buffalo Bill played there. In 1897 , taken by Max Dorfeuil it hosts Dranem and Felix Mayol .
